How to sort data with Microsoft Excel 2016

Sorting data in Microsoft Excel 2016 can be very helpful.  In this guide we will show you how to sort your data to gain knowledge and understanding of your data. The guide is formatted to walk you through the process by giving step-by-step explanations followed by screenshots.   First you will need to create a new document in Microsoft Excel 2016.  To create new spreadsheet in Microsoft word, Go to File>New>Blank Workbook       Next you will need to add your data into your spreadsheet.  You can complete this entering your labels for each piece of data in column A and entering the values of each piece of data in Column B.   To sort this data, you must select all your data.  Do this by clicking on the cell A1, hold down the shift button and click on your last cell with data in it.  For this instance, it would be cell B8. How to create labels in Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word 2016 can help you to create several different labels for your use.  In this guide we will show you how to create elegant return address labels for any occasion. The guide is formatted to walk you through the process by giving step-by-step explanations followed by screenshots.   First you will need to create a new document in Microsoft Word 2016.  To create a new document in Microsoft word, Go to File>New>Blank Document.     After opening the word document, notice the menu bar on the upper part of the screen.  To format your document to make labels, go to the Mailings Tab.  Locate the Create Group box in that tab and click the Labels Button.     Click the options button       This will bring up the label vendors list, select the company that manufactured the sheet of labels.  You may also select the company and page size.  In the product number box, select the product number of your labels.  Click OK.   A box will appear with the tab Labels selected.  There will appear a box labeled address.  Click in this box and enter the name and address you would like to create.   After you have typed your address into the address box, you will notice the Print portion of the label box.  This has two selections.  Full page of the same label and single label.  For our purposes, select Full page of the same label.     To change the formatting of your text, select the entire address in the address box, right click to access the Font menu.  This is where...

How to use video in Microsoft PowerPoint

Using Video in a PowerPoint presentation can be very powerful and convincing.  In this guide you will learn how to insert a video into a PowerPoint slide. The guide is formatted to walk you through the process by giving step-by-step explanations followed by screenshots.   First you will need to create a new presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.  To create a new presentation, click the Home tab>New>Blank Presentation       Add your title and subtitles to the first slide.  Determine your slide order and determine which slide you would like your video to show.     Create the slide you would like your video to play.  I prefer to use the Slide named Title & Content.  This gives an easy way to add the video directly into the slide.     Notice the 6 icons inside the content box.  The 6th icon is Insert Video.  Click on that icon to launch the Insert video menu.     The Insert video menu gives you five sources to choose your video.  You can insert a video from your computer by clicking Browse under from a file.  You have the option to select videos from OneDrive, YouTube, or Facebook as well.  You may also embed video code into your presentation by pasting the embed code into the box under from a video embed code.  For this exercise, we will select a dog video from YouTube.   Click the Enter button and a list of videos that fit your search will pop up.  Select the appropriate video you want to add by clicking on the video box.  Notice the video will have an...
