What are the benefits of iPhone jail breaking? What are the disadvantages?

Jailbreaking an iPhone gives a user the ability to access more features and apps then the default setting. With a jailbroken iPhone you can access an alternative app store from third party developers like cydia. You also have more options to customize your phones interface and functions to fit you instead of using the default wallpapers and screens that come with the phone. One of the most popular features of a jailbroken iPhone is the ability to turn your phone into a hotspot and use it as a broadband modem by tethering for free while most carriers charge high prices for this service.   There are several disadvantages that come with jailbreaking your iPhone. It is important to note that although jailbreaking an iPhone is legal, is frowned upon by Apple and will void your warranty. It is also important to back up your data so that if you need to take your phone to the store for repairs you can reverse the jail break and return it to its default settings. This is will help prevent you from voiding your warranty or breaching end user license agreement. Another disadvantage of jailbreaking your iPhone is the danger of being exposed to malicious applications. Although there are several apps from third parties that can be downloaded, all of them are not screened as thoroughly as the app store. This could allow users to download apps with the intent of hacking into your smartphone. Once you download an app it gives the developer full access to your phone and its information. Sometimes Apple can force a mandatory update that requires...

Deploy latest version of iPad to employees of Medium size company in Milwaukee

I have been tasked on providing the company with iPads to each and every one of the employees. We will be going through what we need to accomplish this task. The first thing that we would need to do is determine what version iPads we are getting everyone, they have multiple versions and we would need to decide, what version, price, capacity. The next thing that we would need to consider is if we are going to be an iPad only establishment or are we going to be using computers as well. Once we have decided what iPad’s we are providing, we will need to then figure out what applications we need to install, we do know that we have to install MS Office 365 but we need to get 10 other applications added onto each iPad. We were also tasked for finishing this project in one full day, so we need to figure out how many people we are going to need in order to complete this task.   The first part of this project is that we need to determine the version of iPad’s that we are getting everyone. I believe the best and newest version for our company would be the new iPad Pro. This would eliminate the use of computers for the group that needs these so we would in turn save money on that aspect. This version would be a sizeable more than buying a basic version of the iPad. We have three versions to choose from when it comes to capacity, we have the 32GB, 128, and the 256GB. In my opinion,...
