Entry Level Customer Support Specialist

Job description

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high level customer support at the automotive dealership location. Functioning as a consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent support for our products and ensuring that our customers are using the software that they purchased to their full potential.

Customer Support Specialists work from a home office and will be provided a company car, iPhone, laptop and printer-scanner-copier equipment.

 

Training:
Paid Training! This role will begin with an intensive five (5) month paid training program located at our office in Houston, TX. Trainees living outside of Houston, TX will be provided a furnished corporate apartment during the training period, as well as periodic trips home. Training for this role will consist of:

  • Classroom instruction and online courses consisting of in-depth product training on our Dealership Retail Management System and overall dealership operations
  • Mentor partnering to train in the field where you can apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world setting

I believe I have all of the necessary skills currently for this job; aside from the “company specific” five month training they would be providing for me – whatever that may all include.  Any missing skills would be attained through their training program. 

 

VMware Technical Support Specialist (Entry Level) – Columbia

Job description

IBM’s new Technical Services Delivery Center is seeking talented Entry Level Consultant/Support Specialists that will be responsible for providing support in a VMware vSphere Infrastructure environment. The candidate will assess customer situations to determine problem facing the client. Daily problems are not routine or standardized and the creation of documentation explaining the solution to the problem is required. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing changes to the client’s environment following established processes. Pager coverage and possible off shift coverage would be required.

Activities may include implementing and coordinating solutions to ensure acceptable performance levels with proven and advanced systems technologies. Candidate will draw on their professional knowledge of systems operations as well as network and applications services to deliver high quality virtualization solutions.

I believe I currently possess the necessary soft-skills as well as strong communication skills.  Equally I possess the necessary written and verbal communication skills.  I do not possess a strong knowledge base and skill-set in working with VMware.  For this I would need to complete coursework either through the company or independently through an IT program focusing on VMware. 

 

Windows Technical Support Specialist (Entry Level) – Columbia
