Jim Stark

Jim Stark has been an instructor at MATC for the past 11 years teaching in the ITSUP and ITNET departments. Prior to joining MATC, Jim spent 20 years in the IT industry, including 14 years as Vice President of JEM Consulting. JEM’s primary business was providing computer hardware and services, including design and installation of Local Area Networks for small and medium-size businesses. Consequently, he brings an entrepreneurial point of view to education.

Jim has earned bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

His current interests include network communications, operating systems and computer hardware. He holds certifications in Novell Netware, Apple Hardware Repair, Cisco Instruction and VMWare VCP.
